General Returns Information

Overview

DINE LIVING is committed to quality and to customer service; it is very rare for our products to have quality issues and we will do our best to resolve them satisfactorily.

 

You can return an item within 14 days of delivery for a full refund for the purchase price of the goods, but not any delivery charges. The cost of returning any items is the responsibility of the customer. Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging. Faulty items or items that do not meet the items description will be offered a replacement item or repair at our expense within 30 days of us being notified. If the goods are not in suitable condition for re-sale, we reserve the right not to refund. We may charge a 10% re-stocking fee depending on the condition of the returned item, and please allow up to 10 days for money to be refunded. This returns policy does not apply to clearance sale Items which are sold as seen, nor does it apply to items which have been manufactured to order.

 

Please note that a large proportion of our furniture range is hand-produced by artisan craftsmen and using one of nature’s most unique natural products – timber. There will always be a unique aspect to the appearance and finishing of these furniture items which serve to enhance the individuality of each item. Occasionally these can appear as knots-marks, blemishes, exposed grain etc and for the avoidance of doubt these are not regarded as faults.

All DINE LIVING furniture items are covered by a 12-month warranty. This covers all items under the following categories:
Any defects in materials used to manufacture your product
Any defects in workmanship under normal use
Any broken components under normal use

In order to begin the return process please send an email to customerservice@dineliving.co.uk with your name and address, the date of your order, a brief explanation of the reason for your return and your preferred contact phone number.

Once submitted this information will be sent to our Customer Service Team who, on average, will respond with further information within 3 working days.

Please read the below returns information prior to arranging any return.

Standard returns (excluding made to order items) must be returned to Dine Living warehouse and you will be given delivery instructions including warehouse address.
To identify if an item fits in to category of ‘made to order items’ these are items that are not displayed in our showroom or from our clearance stock, and will have been specified by you on our website option configurator prior to ordering.

Items must be as new, unused, in their original packaging, and in a saleable condition.

Please note, unwanted items are returned at your own expense and should be sent by tracked delivery. We are unable to provide a refund for items which are lost or damaged in transit.
You must notify us of your intention to return within 14 days of the date which you receive your goods.

You then have a further 14 days, from the date you have notified us, to return the goods.

If on arrival, the product is shown to be defective, or if a product displays a fault within the warranty period, we will offer one of the following at our discretion:
1. exchange the items
2. refund your money including the cost of return postage
3. Offer replacement parts where applicable to rectify the fault

Where items are returned the cost of this return transport must be agreed with us prior to arranging it. Furthermore, where the buyer is returning the goods, the liability for damage in transit will remain with the buyer until received and inspected by Dine Living. Full photographic evidence of the damage or fault must be sent prior to any goods being returned

Please note that made to order items cannot be returned unless they are faulty, differ from the description or the incorrect item was delivered. Made to order items are items that are not displayed in our showroom or from our clearance stock, and will have been specified by you on our website option configurator prior to ordering.

In most cases your refund will automatically go back to the original form of payment used for the purchase. Please note that it can take up to 14 working days to inspect and process items returned, prior to a refund being performed.
